Reading Eating and Dreaming Reviews ~ I think this was a great addition to the Moreno Brother series. Each novel in this series highlights a major conflict that young adults can easily relate to. I really appreciate that and applaud Reyes for incorporating realistic conflicts and characters in her novels
YA Indie Princess Reviews ~ What can I say Elizabeth Reyes has once again blown me away I loved Sofie's novel and her and Eric are just meant to be. I was super happy when I saw this had been released on amazon.co.uk sad that I will even say this but I did a happy dance. I can't wait to read the next two books in the amazing series.
Mteja- GoodReads reviewer ~ I devoured this book from beginning to end in one sitting. Now I'm sleep deprived but it was worth it. Sweet Sofie is a delicious read for anyone who's a fan of an forever-and-ever kind of a love story.
Tasha -GoodReads reviewer ~ I went into Sweet Sofie thinking I already knew their story from reading Forever Mine and Always Been Mine. Asking myself, "What more can be left to say?" However, I was still excited to read it out of my love for the former books and my new (ever-growing) loyalty for their author. But I was so wrong! Elizabeth Reyes took this story to an incredible height, that I did not see coming. Eric and Sofia are absolutely amazing together. There is not a dislikable character in this book. Nor, is there a thing to be changed, 5 stars no doubt about it!
Her entire life, Sofia Moreno has dealt with overprotective brothers. With her three older brothers always lurking, no boy would dare reach out to her. Luckily for Sofia, the one boy she's got her heart set on has always been within reach: her brother's best friend Eric, even though his loyalty to her brothers runs deep. Sofia knows there is only so much he can do before giving in to her.
Two years older than her, Eric Diego has always known there would be hell to pay if he messed with his best friend's kid sister, Sofia. Through the years, he watches as she blooms into a beautiful young lady right before his eyes. With teenage hormones raging and Sofia more than willing, Eric agrees to the unthinkable: a forbidden secret romance. Feeling emotions and a feverish passion that's new to them both, neither is ready for how quickly their romance spins out of control.
Mature YA Contemporary romance aprx 58k words long.
Eric stood up. Something pierced into his chest. "What did you do?"
Tears rolled down her cheeks. "He just wanted to show me a gun his dad got for--"
"What did you do, Sofia?" He wasn't sure if anyone was home and he didn't care. He raised his voice, feeling on the verge of losing it. "What the fuck did you do in his bedroom that has you crying?"

lders. I got it! Never in life had he experienced such an overwhelming relief. That moment changed everything. He and Sofia would never take a chance like that again. He’d nearly seen his life flash before him when her brothers walked into that kitchen. He’d been so damn worried about what her brothers would say when they found out, he never even had time to worry about being a teen dad. Now that it was over and he could think clearer, he couldn’t believe how stupid they’d been. He dropped
answered on the first ring. “You’re not funny, Sof,” he said, smiling. She giggled. “My mom was kind of surprised. I guess we haven’t been as discreet as we thought. She said she thought you were already my boyfriend.” “Are you telling your brothers?” Eric closed his eyes and waited for her response. “Only if they ask. I’m not gonna announce it or anything.” The nerves began to stir inside him. He wanted nothing more than to be Sofie’s boyfriend—have the whole world know it, too, but Sofie
cried. He waved his hand back at her and rushed to the door. Never in his life had he felt what he was feeling at that moment. He hadn’t cried openly since he was a child and he’d forgotten how hard it was to hold it in. Remembering how he and his friends had referred to guys on television as pussies for crying over girls, he held it in, but only until he was in his car. The pain of Sofia’s betrayal nearly suffocated him as he drove home. He’d never look at his beautiful Sofia the same way
so loud there was no way Eric could hear what they were saying even from that close a distance. Their talk was brief and Tina hurried back to the restroom. His dad turned to him not looking pleased. When he reached the table, he didn’t sit down. “You couldn’t have hung out with her for just one evening without bringing up Sofia?” Nothing annoyed Eric more than when his dad played his relationship with Sofia down as if it wasn’t as serious as he knew it was. “Dad, she didn’t want to just hang
much this girl means to you. Hell, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone as heartbroken as I saw you the day you found out about her and Brandon. Right then and there I knew how profound your love for her really was. I’ll admit it scared me, especially because at the time I was under the impression that my son was hopelessly in love with a girl who’d betrayed him in the worse way. Then when you got back with her so quickly, it scared me even more. Now that I find out it was just a kiss… Eric,
