Catch the stranded yarn on the wrong side every 3 stitches or so to prevent long floats—this will allow the color to peek through the front and create the heathered effect. Change the location of where the stranded yarn is caught to prevent vertical lines. Right Hand With A, CO 80 (88, 96) sts. Divide sts, placing 34 sts each on Needles 1 and 3 and 6 (10, 14) sts each on Needles 2 and 4. Attach split-ring marker (pm) into the last st at the end of each needle. Join for working in rnds,
